Andy Warhol is Works Are Now Available as NFT

Freeport has recently launched a collection of four NFTs featuring paintings by the renowned artist Andy Warhol. The platform allows art collectors to invest in artwork through NFTs, providing access to a wider audience. The collection includes popular paintings such as “Marilyn” (1967), “Double Mickey” (1981), “Mick Jagger” (1975), and “Rebel Without a Cause (James Dean)” (1985). Each painting will have 1,000 copies available for purchase, with a price range of $250 to $860, making it more accessible to enthusiasts. To tokenize the works, Freeport has partnered with Vertalo, a tool that enables the artworks to be available in the DeFi and NFT universe. Vertalo has received approval from the SEC (Securities Exchange Commission), allowing the Warhol paintings to have a second life on the Ethereum blockchain.
